We didn't always enjoy these luxuries. However thanks to centuries of civil engineering, today we enjoy such things as indoor plumbing, flushing toilets, heated water, electricity, and ventilation. These “luxuries” in our bathrooms are a result of two simple required functions, cleanliness and toilets. We have come a very long way from the Roman bath houses, and ancient civilization public toilet systems. For the most part, our modern concept of privacy in the toilet in relatively new. What will the future look like for us?
