8 design looks from the 2015 greater Austin HBA parade of homesEach year the Home builders association of Austin showcases some of the area's builders at the annual Greater Austin Parade of Homes. Together the builders and the association hosts a three weekend eye-popping, display of current trends. These, must see, homes feature current trends in building techniques and materials, and highlight today’s trends in area's such as lighting, furniture, floors, and counter tops, just to name a few. With less than a month away from the opening of the 2016 Greater Austin Parade of Homes, I want to continue to look back at the photos I captured of the homes featured in the 2015 Parade of Homes. This week I want to highlight the interior design, furniture, and some art as well as build techniques. If I’m honest it’s the design trends I go to see, interior design, the architectural design, it's the form and the function, it’s the art of design and creative display that I enjoy viewing. Well, It's also my job as a photographer to see these things, and help communicate the collaborative process that architects, builders and interior designers go through to assemble any project.
