NKBA 2014 Awards

I am so excited to once more be a part of this years NKBA, Puget Sound, 10th annual Awards Gala In Seattle on June 26th. The NKBA Annual awards gala brings many great and talented designers together from the Pacific North West. Each year designers around Seattle honor their peers as they choose the top 3 projects from the year past. It is really a great treat and honor to have photographed many of this years projects. I hope we do as good as we did last year. FYI we did get 5 awards last year, 3, first place and 2, 3rd place awards.

These top designers are getting more and more attention both in a regional and National Platform, In large part to the support and recognition they get from their peers and industry providers. The National Kitchen and Bath Association is home to many great designers, designs, and providers Nation wide. Among one of the top regions just happens to be the Puget Sound chapter.

NKBA pulls together more than designers, it also includes industry providers, from hardware, to plumbing, counter-top, glass, and many others, not to over look the photographers. Having a community and resource like this is rewarding and priceless. The Puget Sound chapter, like many others, reaches out to JR designers and students of the industry, they help train, encourage, mentor, and friend these up and coming stars, who are also recognized through their hard work and dedication to the craft at the awards gala.

Last year I had the great opportunity not only to photograph the event and these great professionals, but to watch as 5 of the projects I had photographed won awards.

My friends Will and Wayne of William and Wayne KB took home 3 awards: 1st place for Large kitchen, 1st place for Small/medium Bathroom, 3rd place for Large bathroom

My friend Kayron Brewer of Studio KB took home 2 awards: 1st place for Large Bathroom, and 3rd Place for Small / medium Kitchen.

I cant tell you how excited I am to go back to Seattle next week to be part of this event.

Good luck to all designers. And many thanks to all the sponsors that make this event possible. See y'all in a week.
