Barton Springs Residence completed
In December I gave you a quick peek at a residence designed by Baldridge Architects , being constructed by Foursquare Builders. Well the day of completion has come. This infill residence is simple, and beautiful. It features a multi-leveled stone-scaping front yard, complete with cement slabs for a walk path from the street to the entry. The magic happens once you enter the home, you feel as if the kitchen and family room serve dual purposes, first a space for gathering, dining, and relaxing, the other is a well designed pathway to the back yard. The large windows and sliding glass doors which you can view the pool and covered patio help create that unique feeling. More in the mood for a glass of wine and a book? There is a space for that also, walk out onto the screened-in porch, off of the family room, which host the reverse side of the open fireplace, private, cozy, and still a great view of the multi-level back yard. On the second floor, two open decks continue the pull back to the open air. The sliding glass doors in the master suite open to the private porch the back yard. To see the process drop by the photo gallery.
Yea! It is a great design for any downtown dwelling Austin-ite
